Privacy Policy

Twyndor · Last updated: 19 October 2026

Twyndor is an offline exploration game for iPhone. It has no accounts, no servers of its own, no advertising and no analytics. This policy explains exactly what the app does with your information.

What stays on your device

None of this is sent to us or to any third party. We do not operate a backend and cannot see it.

Location

Twyndor asks for location permission While Using the App only. Your location is used while the app is open to show your position, reveal nearby places, measure the distance you walk and clear the fog around you. It is processed on your device, is not stored as a location history and is never transmitted to us. You can refuse or withdraw the permission at any time in iOS Settings → Twyndor → Location; the Journal, Collection and Quests remain usable.

Nearby places

To show real places around you, the app sends a search request to Apple Maps (MapKit) for points of interest within about 1 km of your position. This request is handled by Apple under Apple's own privacy policy. Twyndor does not receive or store anything about the request beyond the place names shown on the map.

Data we collect

None. Twyndor does not collect, share or sell personal data, does not track you across other apps or websites and contains no third-party SDKs.

Children

Twyndor does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children. Because nothing leaves the device, no child's data is ever received by us.

Deleting your data

Open Settings inside the app → Reset progress to erase your progress, journal entries and photos, or simply delete the app. Because everything is stored on your device, deletion is immediate and complete.

Safety

Twyndor is played outdoors. Stay aware of your surroundings, never use the app while crossing a road, and do not enter private or unsafe places.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be published at this address with an updated date.
