Frequently asked questions
The map shows no places around me.
Make sure location is allowed: iOS Settings → Twyndor → Location → While Using the App. Places are generated within about 1 km of your position; move a little and they appear. If you are indoors, wait for a better GPS signal.
I walked but my distance did not increase.
Distance counts only steps taken on foot with a good GPS fix. Riding in a car, bus or train is deliberately ignored.
I cannot reach a place to discover it.
A place reveals itself when you are within 40 metres of it. Some places may sit on private or unreachable ground — try another one.
Can I play without walking?
Yes. The first quest is completed on the spot, and Collection, Journal and Quests can be used anywhere.
Did I lose my progress after reinstalling?
All data is stored only on your device (there are no accounts), so deleting the app deletes your progress. Restoring an iOS backup that contains Twyndor restores it.
How do I delete my data?
Settings in the app → Reset progress, or delete the app.
Is my location shared?
No. See the Privacy Policy: location is used only while the app is open and never leaves your device.
